Social media content and planning

For a year and a half (and during Covid19), I worked as a freelance marketing consultant in the evenings, and honestly, it turned me into a bit of a one-person content studio. I’d write copy for all kinds of projects, plan out social media campaigns, and then build these huge batches of posts so my clients had months of content ready to roll. It was a mix of creativity and quiet behind-the-scenes organising, switching between different brand voices, figuring out what would actually land with people, and keeping everything flowing without anyone having to scramble at the last minute.

Copywriting blogs and articles

Whilst freelancing, I spent a lot of time writing blogs, articles, and website copy, mostly with the goal of helping clients boost their SEO and actually get noticed online. A lot of it was digging into what people were searching for, figuring out how to make the content genuinely helpful, and then shaping it so it felt natural instead of keyword-stuffed. It ended up being a nice mix of research and creativity, and it helped me get a feel for what makes content both readable and search-friendly at the same time.

On the fun side, I’ve also written four children’s books, which I’m currently in the process of editing, because apparently my creativity doesn’t know when to clock off!
